We can't believe that Peyton is almost 6 weeks old already! She has been smiling since about 4 weeks, unlike Parker, who smiled at 6 weeks (and is what books say is "normal"). She tends to be really happy after a good nap and milk and will smile at us when we talk to her. She is easily distracted and very interested in Parker and can't focus very well when he is around. We are loving her (double chin, receding hairline and all) and are amazed at how easily she has transitioned into our lives and become the fourth member of our family.

Nate and Jess, great to see the pix of sweet Peyton! She looks so healthy and happy and I am grateful that she is pretty mellow. Hope you're getting some energy back. . . though I was amazed by Jess's quick recovery from the C-section! Wow. Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow. Love, Aunt Carol
