Hallelujah!!

We got an offer on our house today(which we accepted)!! It is an incredible blessing after being on the market for 2 months. We were starting to get a bit discouraged and were wondering if we would get to enjoy summer in our new home. Thankfully we got close to asking price and the buyers want a quick closing, so we'll be in the new place by the end of the August! Thank you, Lord!

Fun Times. . .

Parker had a great day hanging out with Aunt Rachel! He got to spend the whole morning with her while mom and dad worked, then had a blast at the park, swinging, going down the slide, and playing in the grass. He had a fun afternoon watching his favorite show, Little Einsteins and sporting his new baseball hat while Aunt Rae read to him;) Tomorrow we are off to Black Butte with the Bell clan, so we'll post more on Sunday!

Boy or puppy?

Parker's new thing is putting his toys in his mouth so he can take them with him as he crawls around. Its pretty funny-sometime it seems like he is our little puppy rather than our little boy! He likes to beg at our feet everytime he wants attention or to eat what we are eating;) One of his favorite things to put in his mouth is the window blind knob until he realizes he can't go anywhere with it! He does enjoy looking out the window and waiting for dogs or puppies to walk by, then pounding on the window! Finally, he likes buttons of any kinds and has recently taken to playing with the tv and cable buttons:) Notice how he has his daddy's strong legs already!

We went to the Washington Square Mall yesterday where Parker got to play in the kids' play area. He sought out the one other baby in the whole area who could crawl/was close to his age and seriously followed the baby around, smiling, grabbing, crawling with him etc for a good 20 minutes. It was cute to see his desire to make a new friend and amazing that he knew the boy was the most like him out of the all the kids there! We are excited to watch this new social development and can't wait to see what other friends he will make in the coming years.

Fun in the sun

Here are a few pictures from this weekend and this afternoon. Parker thinks he is very cool in his sunglasses and always smiles when we put them on him (but then he yanks them right off). He had fun walking Max with Grandpa and held Max's leash the entire walk!

Parker entertained himself for a good 20 yesterday helping mom "fold clothes" and inspect the inside of our washing machine:) It was hilarious!!

4th of July at Washington Park

We spent our 4th of July afternoon at beautiful Washington Park where we enjoyed a picnic lunch and some good 'ol family time. Parker had fun swinging on the swings and exploring his surroundings. He already has an appreciation for God's beautiful creation!
