Cast your votes! We thought it would be fun to take an informal poll and see who is right when we find out the gender of our baby on Thursday! We'll make a post on Friday to share the news.
We have no clue this time around. . . .What does everyone else think?!

Parker Quote(s) of the Day
When asked where Daddy's hair went after a haircut, his response was, "bye bye to the haircut store"
Nate and I were hugging the other night and Parker looked at us and yells, "No huggin', Daddy!!"
Parker was being a bit naughty when we were getting ready for church. I was sitting on the stairs trying to not show my frustration, but he could sense it. He came over to me and asked, "Is something wrong Mommy? Did you get an owie?" (He hugged me after saying this and melted my heart!)
Today he was playing with my hair, looks me in the eyes and says, "you look cute, Mommy, you look cute."
Lately each time Parker is in the bathroom he tells us, "check mirror". We asked how he looks and he always says, "very good!" Last night he was commenting on his and my eyes when we were looking in the mirror. He initially said that he had tiger eyes, and I explained that mommy's eyes were more like tiger eyes because they are yellow/green and that Parker's eyes were like bear eyes, so now when he looks me in the eyes, he tells me I have tiger eyes:) Too cute!

Second Trimester, here I come!!
The baby belly at nearly 13 weeks. I've been feeling good 90% of the time since about 11 weeks, which has been wonderful! Here comes the hunger pains and good cravings!
We are exploring the chance of a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean). Anyone know of anyone who has successfully done this? My doctor says I can try it, but a lot will depend on how the pregnancy progresses/how big the baby is etc. There are serious risks involved, so I'd love to hear stories of anyone who has tried it!
Random pictures/updates from the past month. .
Parker with my parents' exchange student, Diego. He is from Panama and is great with Parker. They spend hours coloring and building with legos.
We took both sets of parents to Skamania Lodge for brunch last weekend. Great company and great food!

Baby #2 is on the way!!
For those of you who don't already know, we are expecting #2!!! This has been the main reason I haven't been blogging lately. I have definitely been sicker this time around. . . .maybe its a girl?! I' am now 11 weeks along, but I already look like I am 4 months pregnant. I am very ready to be done with the first trimester and all the aversions to things that I normally love.
We were able to see the baby in a ultra sound and hear its little, yet very strong, heartbeat at 9 weeks and are just so thankful that things are healthy and normal this time around. Parker is very excited to be a big brother and has taken to hugging and kissing my belly and singing to the baby. He wants to name the baby either Thomas or Percy after characters on Thomas the Train. He also likes to try and pull the baby out of my belly button-he really wants this one to come soon. How do you explain the concept of 9 months to a 2 year old?!
